After completion, the dog owner will receive a 2-hour 1-on-1 session to detail everything their dog does, and how to properly handle them</spa
Your dog will come and live with one of our trainers for 14 days.
Your dog will achieve all of the items listed in the proficient package.
Your dog will be treated as a member of our own family during their stay. They will be worked in several short sessions throughout each day to ensure that they graduate their B&T session fully capable to conduct an independent search and alert on odor alone (without the presence of a reward).
10 Lessons of 30 minutes – providing you and your dog an advanced understanding of Scent Work.
Your dog will be able to conduct independent searches.
Your dog will conduct a proper search and alert the handler that a target odor has been found – without the immediate presence of a reward.
5 Lessons of 30 minutes – providing you and your dog a basic understanding of how Scent Work works.
Your dog will be able to start doing multiple container searches with environmental objects around as distractions.
Your dog will have a firm understanding of how to conduct a proper search and be able to properly alert the handler that a target odor has been found (paired with a reward).
Is your goal to have your dog become a therapy dog? This specially designed 8-lesson course prepares you and your dog for their therapy dog testing and certification. Many of our former clients easily pass their therapy dog certification after our training program. Upon successful completion of this program, we can evaluate and certify you and your dog through Therapy Pets Unlimited.
This specially designed program is for dogs with aggression or reactivity issues around other dogs. This 8-lesson program includes our basic obedience package, as well as additional lessons working with you & your dog around other dogs in different scenarios. This will give you and you dog the skills, tools, and desensitization necessary to put you back in control.
This consultation will give your new pup a good foundation for basic obedience! We can teach you how to house train your dog so they quit having accidents in the house! Also, we will work with you to help you train your pup to go outside. Finally, we will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding your new puppy or its’ training.
